We have more than 30 years' experience taking brilliant ideas to market, and are one of the few self-sustaining technology transfer offices in the country.

Yes - we're very proud of our connection to a world-leading university, that has had innovation at its core from the beginning. 

University College London was established in 1826 with a new vision: to make higher education accessible to all. As London’s first university, UCL challenged convention by admitting students regardless of faith, introducing practical subjects, and later granting women access to higher education alongside men.

Our CEO, Dr Anne Lane has been leading the company since 2019.

As a wholly-owned subsidiary of UCL, we’re able to act completely independently. We have a separate Board, comprising experts who have built successful businesses themselves and understand the worlds of venture capital and academia.
