Guilford Street Laboratories (GSL) is a UCL spinout company dedicated to helping clients achieve their research objectives. It launched in 2023.

Leveraging machine learning-driven mass spectrometry, the company delivers highly precise and sensitive biomarker panels, specialising in the analysis of protein, lipid, and metabolite markers.
 

The Guildford Street Labs journey so far: 

  • 2023: founded as a spinout 
  • 2026: ImmunoTADA™ test launched with the NHS for patients living with Fabry disease

Dr O'Rourke has worked as a research associate on tissue engineering, drug delivery, regenerative medicine and stem cell biology. Her PhD looked at tissue engineering and her MSc in neuropharmacology.
