Queen Square Analytics applies the latest in imaging and machine learning technologies to advance understanding more precisely where clinical treatments are working. 

The company offers cutting-edge AI analysis services for research for neurological clinical trials, with a focus on multiple sclerosis (MS). Its team has a collective experience of more than a century in MS clinical trials and neurodegenerative disorders.

The QSA journey so far:

  • 2021: QSA and University College London announce a collaboration to advance neurological imaging processing services and technology.
  • 2023: Bioxydyn, Ltd. and QSA announce a strategic partnership to provide advanced clinical trial services for multiple sclerosis (MS) and other neurological disorders. 
  • 2025: QSA's AI analysis of blood tests and MRI scans reveal two distinct types of multiple sclerosis.

Team

Dr Arman Eshaghi

Founder

Dr Eshaghi is an Image Scientist at UCL. He is working on developing a suite of AI tools called MS-PINPOINT that helps to predict MS symptom changes and effective drugs in order to personalise care.

Dr Weng Sie Wong

Senior Business Manager

Dr Wong brings extensive experience of all aspects of university technology transfer activities from strategic IP management to licence negotiations and spinout formation.

As a Senior Business Manager focusing on the commercialisation of medical technologies, healthcare engineering, medical imaging and AI-enabled healthcare innovations arising from UCL research, she has been involved in the formation of multiple spinouts and acted as a director on various boards.

Prior to joining UCL Ventures, Dr Wong was a senior technology transfer manager at Oxford University’s TTO, Oxford University Innovation, working on a diverse range of both life and physical science projects over a 10-year period.

Weng holds an MBA from Edinburgh University and a PhD in pharmacology from UCL.
