Guilford Street Laboratories (GSL) is a UCL spinout company dedicated to helping clients achieve their research objectives. It launched in 2023.
Leveraging machine learning-driven mass spectrometry, the company delivers highly precise and sensitive biomarker panels, specialising in the analysis of protein, lipid, and metabolite markers.
The Guilford Street Labs journey so far:
- 2023: founded as a spinout
- 2026: ImmunoTADA™ test launched with the NHS for patients living with Fabry disease.

Over 15 years experience in developing basic research for clinical application, runs largest translational research centre in UK. Co-developer of HCM Predict and creator of ImmunoTADA platform.
Dr. Caitriona O'Rourke (Away from office)

Dr O’Rourke joined us in 2018, having worked as a research associate within UCL on several diverse life science / pharmaceutical research projects covering the areas of tissue engineering, drug
delivery, regenerative medicine, biomaterials and stem cell biology.
Caitriona holds a PhD in tissue engineering from the Open University and a MSc in neuropharmacology from the National University of Galway, Ireland.
