Errors on busy manufacturing lines create waste, delay and safety risks; their total cost can represent 5–40% of a manufacturer’s revenue. KIT-AR uses augmented reality and computer vision to give workers clear, contextual guidance at the point of work, helping manufacturers prevent mistakes, improve quality and use materials more efficiently.

KIT-AR's journey so far

  • 2018: Founded to develop augmented-reality tools for industrial workers.
Early growth: selected for the Sony Startup Acceleration and Boeing Aerospace Xelerated programmes.
  • 2024: raised €3.3 million to accelerate global growth and product development.
  • 2025: selected for the MassChallenge Switzerland accelerator from more than 1,500 applicants.
