Ixico
Image analysis services for the pharmaceutical industry.
Neurological diseases are complex to measure, making it harder to show whether new treatments are working in clinical trials.
In 2021, 57 million people were living with dementia worldwide, with nearly 10 million new cases each year. Ixico combines medical-imaging expertise, data management and AI-enabled analysis to turn brain scans into consistent biomarkers that support research and clinical development across dementia and other neurological conditions.
UCL academic founder: Professor Derek Hill and Professor David Hawkes, UCL Centre for Medical Image Computing.
